CHASE is a small game with 7 levels. You collect coins, and escape the ghost by getting to the level exit.
Was made in 1 day for the 10 day game jam Scream Jam 2020.

good submission. enjoyed the effort of multiple levels. Felt the gameplay lacked a little with the simple enemy movements, maybe multiple enemy types with different behaviours could have solved this? great attempt given the short time frame though!
I like the characters and mechanics. More levels and some more threats would make the game more fun. Also some background music would help! Good job!

That's funny, I always seem to misspell that word.
I got all 11 coins! the game isn't bad but running away seems a bit odd at times, i found if i wanted to avoid i had to move diagonally at all times. My biggest complaint was the sound though, it sounded broken and really scratchy, thought my headset was broken for a second. the graphics weren't bad though and looked cute.
Thank you, I've been improving it but by bit as time allows. Fun fact you are actually faster than it in all directions. My intention was to have you use the walls to keep it away.
Been working on the sound, has a little bit of static in the first load of the game (with some lag on the web version) but much better after that initial lag.
